Personal data refers to any information held that can be used to identify an individual.  It’s essential for employees to understand what constitutes personal data and how to handle it in accordance with the GDPR

What you will learn:

• Provide training to employees on the handling of personal sensitive information.
• What it means by compliance in accordance  with data protection regulations and the consequences both  legal and financial  of non-compliance.
• The storing and handling of personal data, including encryption, access controls, and secure disposal methods.
• Reporting of  any breaches of the data protection act

By the end of this Course  you should be able to understand:

•  Basic data security – cyber security terminology.
• The importance of data security to an organization
• The law that protects personal information .
  And be able to:
• Explain responsibilities when using personal information
•  Identify some of the most common data security risks and their impact.
• Identify near misses and incidents and know what to report.
•  Distinguish between good and poor practice when using personal information.
• Apply good practice in the workplace

CERTIFICATION

Achieve a pass mark of 70% and collect a valued certificate to prove that you can recognise and defend you and your organization against the most common cyberattacks
